And today, I shall be typing up about a purchase I made with " EPIC COSPLAY "!
So, as you may or may not know, the London MCM Expo/London Comic Con is in... JUST OVER 2 WEEKS! Dun dun duuunnn!!! OH GOD I'M STILL NOT READY
And I'm going to be cosplaying a certain little cutie angel that goes by the name of Dokuro Chan~! "Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan/Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan" is... a different anime to say the least.
Aaaah I'm so so so excited! I literally cannot wait to get there and be one with fellow crazies like me~! I still have so much to do, and I've had so much time to do it urgh I leave everything to the last minute! ( This rambling does have a point haha. )
Aaany ways, I was looking forever to find a wig that was just right. I ordered a purple wig previous to this one that I got from "EPIC COSPLAY" but the purple on the screen was a lot lighter to the purple I actually got... so, I was kind of freaking out a bit. I just happened to stumble upon this site and, I am SO glad I did.
EPIC COSPLAY is straight up one brilliant site let me tell you
For starters, their site has a simple layout, straight to the point, you hover over the options at the top and everything shows up in an instant!
They even have their own blog, and other pages full of info as to how to look after/style your wig, make buns, etc. AND they have photos of people that have purchased wigs from them as examples as to what these wigs look like in real life etc. 10/10 for information and guidance!
They have all the styles and colours under the sun. (Well, maybe not, but they have A LOT to choose from)
They have a few different tones of purple, and luckily for me they have the exact tone I was looking for ~ ! Which is the "Fusion Vanilla Purple". Now, Dokuro-Chan has short hair in a bob, but unfortunately the bob style doesn't come in the vanilla purple which sucks because then it would have been the dream Dokuro-Chan wig! Wah!
(and I know you can dye wigs to the colour you want... but then it's a case of finding the right colour and hoping it dyes successfully without the colour running and all that extra hassle)
So for that reason I chose the Chronos- 14" Fusion Vanilla Purple Short Cosplay Wig .. phew, that's a mouthful and a half. I also purchased 15" Hair Weft Extentions because she has thick piggytails/twintails I thought that they could give me some extra volume in them, in case I need to.
PRICE: The price of the wig, weft and the shipping came to a grand total of $65.97 (around £40)
So this is the packaging (The label looks crazy because I got rid of all the address info so you can't send lovely letters/money to where I live. Sorry!)
It was a package within a package! (Note: Got a little excited opening it up, the tear wasn't there when I originally opened it!)
And this is what the wig and wefts look like all packaged up! They even added a really cute sticker on for the wefts!

The wig and wefts are out! They're lovely and soft, easy to comb through! Nothing is shoddy looking, they really have taken care with everything.
The labels that are attached to the wig and wefts are large and very informative. From the style and colour of the chosen wig, to the instructions on the back about how to look after them and style them. Brill!
The wig is very well packaged. With a light hair net over it to protect it and so it doesn't get all messy whilst being delivered, and some tissue paper placed on the inside so I guess it doesn't go flat/get damaged.
I didn't realise that I was going to be receiving 6 pieces! I thought I would only get one weft haha so that's my bad. They're great!
The inside of the wig has "bra straps" (I like to call them bra straps haha. I have found you have wigs that either have hair grips for it to stay on your head, or these little bra-like straps that you can pull tighter so it stays on your head.)

A 360 view of what the wig looks like. I gave it a little brush, no tangles, a few strands came out but that's to be expected when brushing wigs, and your own hair! ... Gonna give it a go myself!

As a wig for Dokuro-Chan, it is very good. The colour is absolute perfection (in my eyes). When tied up, the twintails are smaller than I'd like them to be, but I'll try the wefts and see if it make them a little bigger, if not I shall leave it be and crack on with everything else I have to do for it!!
As a wig in general it is amazing. The quality is top notch, and it's not too tight. It may feel a little loose at the bottom-back, but then if you shake your head around it doesn't fly off. You wouldn't want it toooo tight otherwise your head will suffocate and hate you forever.
Prise-wise, it's good. Considering this is being shipped over from the US to the UK (it's to be expected, shipping and tax etc is not the best at times) and it was a quick delivery, so no complaints there.
