Amberoo's Circle Lens Review: Dueba G&G Dolce Black Circle Lenses from Pinky Paradise

Hey guys! So here it is... My first legit post! Wahoo~! It's only taken... A couple of months? Haha, happy readin', folks~!

In this post, I shall be reviewing the "G&G Dolce Black" contact lenses that I purchased from Pinkyparadise.com!

Back when I purchased these from Pinky Paradise, they were having a 20% off sale! There were a few colours and different brands to choose from, but at that moment in time I was wanting to get some either dark brown lenses (to make my eyes look naturally larger and more doll-like) or some black ones to really make my eyes pop. Out of all the lenses that were on sale, the Dolce Black intrigued the most and so that's what I got!

Like I said before as I purchased them in the sale they were cheaper:

"Product Subtotal: $17.90
Tax: $0.00 (yeeeah buddy!)
Shipping & Handling: $6.00
Discounts: $0.00
Grand Total: $23.90"

The usual price for the G&G Dolce Black and the others in this series are $25.90 (£16.06 for anyone else that also lives in England)
Here are all the details you need to know~! (information provided by the Pinky Paradise site):

☆*・゜゚・* ~ Let's see what I got ~ *・゜゚・*☆

Ok, so with the glass bottles/vials/etc the lenses came in, there is a rubber topper and casing that covers the top which is super annoying to take off, argh. To make it easier though, they add little arrows on the casing as to where to open it from *image 2*. That's where you push it up so it rips the casing. Once you take that all off then you're good to go! (Be careful though, the casing is quite sharp!!)

The lenses are freeee! Waaah they look so cool~! Whilst in the light you can see the pattern in the lenses a lot clearer than when placed on a table top, etc.

Image 3 is of the lens case and I believe some Velcro that you can stick in your hair so it isn't in your face whilst you pop your lenses in. This came with the lenses and lens case too! However I'm not sure that I'll ever use them as I have my own hair clips that I stick my hair up with, or I use a wig cap.
I'm so happy with the lens cases! They're cute lilac elephants!!! Lilac/purple is my favouritest colour so these are an automatic 10/10 ~

Now, I see a lot of reviews say to make sure to let your contacts sit in your cases within some contact lens solution (NOT what they come in! You should have your own contact solution. I use "Synergi®") for about 6~8 hours - But I was cheeky and was too excited to wait to put them in - ah! Be careful with your eyes! They are precious!

☆*・゜゚・* ~ Transformation time ~ *・゜゚・*☆

Here are a couple of shots, the first being indoors with flash. You can definitely tell the difference between having them in! (spooky eyes)

The second image is also taken indoors, but with natural lighting and both lenses in. Dolly eyes! Even though they do look a little odd, they are still a lovely pair of lenses. I think it helps that I have naturally brown eyes and so any lenses that are dark will just enhance them and not make my eyes seem too strange.

☆*・゜゚・* At the time I wore these I was wearing a Bart/Squishee t-shirt, so I thought to have a little Simpsons selfie shoot *・゜゚・*☆

DUFFMAN. Oh yeah!!!

Never enough love for Milhouse (*^^*) ~ ❤

My overall rating *・゜゚・*☆

Comfort: 4/5 -
I'm not sure if it's because I popped them straight in, or if it's because they are quite large in diameter, but for the first few minutes they were a little irritable. After a while they did settle down. It was more my right eye that was annoying probably because when I popped the lens in I was using a mirror that was not as close to me then when I put the lens in my left eye (I moved to a closer mirror to see if it made any difference. It did, probably because it was easier for me to see - ah!)

Design: 5/5 -
It's such a cute and simple design! It's a shame you can't see the details so much when you're actually wearing them. Maybe if someone with light blue/green eyes wore them then the detail would be more prominent.

Colour: 5/5 -
What can I say, they're black. I like black ~ ~

Naturalness: 4/5 -
From a distance I'd say they look natural, the closer you get the more you can tell that I'm wearing lenses though but that's to be expected with pure black lenses. I reckon a pair of darker brown lenses would look more natural closer up as well as from a distance for sure.

Enlargement: 5/5 -
They definitely enlarge my eyes! Brilliant!Personally for me it takes some time getting used to because they are quite a size (whey) but I don't think they look *that* freakishly large that they make me look like a spooky bug.

So that's an average of 5/5, wahoo!
